Meet our founder

Laura Lehman brings over fifteen years of experience working with funders, nonprofit organizations, and communities organizing for structural justice.

Laura is passionate about connecting people and ideas across borders, supporting teams to identify powerful questions that make a difference for their work, and centering the people and communities closest to the issues to ensure meaningful results.

She is an experienced process designer, facilitator, and evaluator focused on systems change and community power-building. Her experience spans across multiple contexts and cultures, contributing to her spirit of curiosity, empathy, and adaptability. She believes that to achieve ambitious and necessary change, we must also shift our own mindsets, practices, and relationships to organize for better futures.

  • Laura received her MPA in Development Practice from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, and BA in English and Anthropology from the University of Maryland, College Park. She has worked with philanthropic organizations, nonprofits, and governmental entities in the United States and Latin America, been a teacher of justice-involved youth in Philadelphia, a Peace Corps Education Volunteer in the Dominican Republic, and an organizer for language access in Washington DC.
